I really like the style of art by Wassily Kandinsky. I looked up his art and as soon as I saw this picture I wanted to create something similar. I stuck to shapes and colors because that was what is going on in this painting. His paintings are bizarre but cool. They’re random but it makes them unique. That’s what I like most about the art.
Sandy Skoglund: I enjoy the work of Sandy, although it is a little weird. Her creative process is pretty cool also. She makes real models for her work. She then finds furniture to make the picture pop with the subject. She uses really bright colors and monochromatic colors. levitationShadow Series of 4The Dark SideStare DownTintype: The tintype was an old way people did photography. I had to recreate the affect of the tintype. So, I used Snapseed instead of Pixlr just because I’m more comfortable with Snapseed, and started working on it. I chose a vintage filter and added some minor scratches. Finally, I added a couple borders to make the perfect border and here was my final product. It’s a tintype of one of my friends.
